Way too many YouTube ham videos consist of a shaky out of focus view of the front panel shot using a hand held camcorder that obviously wasn't designed to focus down that close. I admire your persistence at wading through them all to find a good one.

Funny thing John I was just talking to my wife about getting some type of video recorder for the very purpose of doing some Youtube stuff with my K3, K2 and not to forget the KX1. It's true Youtube is such a great way to get our hobby out there for other hams and hams to be.

John, I remember seeing the post and reading the reply's with great interest. I have a K3 and am at the point of purchasing the KRX3. At the same time the P3 made it's debut and that put me in a dilemma, KRX3 or P3??? After reading the post's I am leaning toward the KRX3. I do have the LP-Pan and it works great but just wanted to see if the P3 offered more. In time I can see getting the P3 but for now it is the KRX3.

I agree too. It's great to receive an envelope from the 4 call area bureau (Sterling Park W4 for me). And too, it's great to open the mailbox and sort the "Airmail" envelopes out from the bills and junk mail. I hope Paper QSLs don't fade away because of advancements in technology - (eQSL and LoTW). They have their purpose but there is no substitute for the original!
73 to all and good DX de KD4QMY
