Full-time availability for KB9YIG’s SoftRock kits?

By , August 2, 2012

The intermittent nature of the availability of Tony Parks’ SoftRock SDR kits may be about to change.

His old url now re-directs to “Five Dash” – so named because five dashes is Morse for the number zero, thus representing the starting point for SDR.

Additionally, Tony has added two family members to his previous one-man enterprise in order to increase capacity. Kit prices remain the same.

From Tony:

Kits available at this time include RX Ensemble II receiver kits, RXTX Ensemble transceiver kits and SoftRock Lite II Combined kits. Kits are in stock and ready to ship to fill orders quickly.
SoftRock 40_R circuit boards and 6m/4m/2m RX Ensemble circuit boards are in stock and these kits will be made available in the next three weeks.
While we hope to introduce new developments down the line, today we’ve simply got the new web site and more hands packing kits. As always, we thank you for your continued interest and participation.

This is indeed very good news. These kits are fantastic and it’s great that they can now be ordered without the hassle of hunting for availability.
