According to various sources, Elecraft’s upcoming 500-watt solid state amp received the long awaited blessing from the FCC yesterday (3/14). Just in time for those IRS refund checks – mine’s in hand, awaiting the Order page to become active…

A manual has so far not been posted to Elecraft’s website but probably will be shortly. In the meantime, there is an unofficial manual and other info available (all in pdf format) at the links below, obtained via an FCC.gov search:

Manual (This is a draft version – not the final doc!) (750k)

Operational Description (270k)

Schematics (320k)

Block diagram (200k)

Linearity tests (32k)

Emissions tests (55k)

Gain tests (5k)

External photos (1.6M)

Interior photos (2.6M)

Happy reading.
